WYR 96.3  Is in need of some equipment for better operations. What we are looking for is a Power Distribution unit that we can log into via Web and turn on and off the server. Sometimes the server go’s down and we are unable to login and re boot it. This means driving up to the transmitter site and re booting the server. This can be a time consuming job. If the roads are to muddy or if there is snow this could mean hiking in. Right now I can drive in but in the winter and spring this will mean a hike. If anyone has a used one or would like to Donate some $ to this please let us know We are a non profit . That means you can get a tax deduction for your donation….

96.3fm in the Wenatchee valley became Wenatchee Youth Radio around 4:30PM this afternoon, Wednesday, February 20th, 2008. WYR is still in the testing phase and there will be many changes to the music and formatting in the weeks and months to come.

A special ‘Thank You’ to Lonnie England of Wenatchee Valley Community Channel for his engineering help in getting Wenatchee Youth Radio up and running at 96.3fm.

Please consider supporting this radio station ministry for the youth of the Wenatchee valley.

WYR is look at a launch date on or before Feb 18. Keep cheecking in to the website for update info and tune your radio in on FEB 18 for the New WYR 96.3
